Grand Ocean Launches First Show Apartments In 1930s Style
Published on 25-Mar-2008
Explore Living is pleased to announce the launch of the first two show apartments at their Grand Ocean development, located in Saltdean, Brighton. The former hotel first launched in 1938 as a high class hotel, and in acknowledgement of this the show apartments were launched with a 30s style themed party.
The recent event was held at the marketing suite, visitors to the development were given a guided tour of the scheme and the show apartments by staff dressed in 1930s attire, whilst a jazz band played and cocktails and canapés were served. To add to the authenticity a 1930s style Rolls Royce park up out side of the Grade II former hotel.
Grand Ocean comprises 279 one, two and three bedroom apartments, some situated within the conversion of the former hotel with the remainder located in four apartment buildings adjacent to the art deco hotel. All of the homes benefit from ergonomic kitchens designed to maximise storage space, including concealed sockets, deep work surfaces and integrated appliances, under floor heating, plus pre-wiring for flat screen TVs and Sky+, whilst some offer fantastic sea views and balconies.
Explore Living’s Sales and Marketing Director, John Inglis comments: “We are delighted with the new show apartments and have gone to great lengths to ensure they reflect the art deco heritage of the former hotel. Grand Ocean has been very well received; the combination of high specification apartments, sea views and close proximity to Brighton makes it a very appealing place to live. To date we have seen a real mix of purchasers from those needing to downsize to city executives seeking a weekend retreat.”
Explore Living offer a range of purchasing schemes to buyers wishing to make the move to Grand Ocean.
